Normally a plug-in contains a jar file plus an XML file :
plugin.xml. Most of the cases, it also contains an icons directory.
Those files are into a directory that you have to move
into the eclipse plugin directory with the other ones.

Most of the plug-ins are what we call
view plug-ins, i.e. we can see them like the tasks or console views.
Now if your new plug-in is a view, follow these steps :
- Click on Window,
- Click on Show View,
- Click on Other...,
- Find the plug-in in the list,
- Double-click on it.
Normally the plug-in is now visible at the same place as the Tasks or Console
Views.
